In the late 1870s, Paul Masson emigrated from Burgundy to California with three things: a cache of winemaking knowledge, a passion for taste and exploration, and a thirst for life. Over the next 30 years, these three things led him to craft the Central Coast’s finest collection of wines. And now, nearly 150 years later, his lively spirit and passion for taste lives on. The Paul Masson brand represents rich tradition and heritage in the wine industry. Paul Masson was a pioneer in the California wine industry, founding the Mountain Winery in 1901.
